When will I feel better again

So the interview I think went really well yesterday at RealPage. But then again I thought (secretly) that I had the ITAR thing in the bag too and we know how that went. I got to meet with the manager (who seems to actually have GOOD manageral skills...wow what a concept) and I got to chill in the break room with 3 of the guys who work there and have worked there for 3 years. I love the atmosphere and the sample group I met were fun, funny, and seem like they would be great to be on a team with. The age of the people that work there seems to be between 23-33 years old and its mostly men. I like men they are easy to work with.

No I do not know when I will hear back from them, but they did say that they had quite a few other interviews to do this week so I'm guessing Monday or Tuesday. I have an interview at Husky next Tuesday so I hope I hear before then.

I am sick. Sick sick sick. I thought it was just an allergy attack and it may have started out that way but its now a raging horrible head cold. The last cold I had with the persistent cough and the general malaise hasn't completely left my body yet so I'm dealing with two colds at once, possibly even three. It really sucks because I have had the kids almost every single day and I can't just take a nap or lay here and rest. Alicia is also sick but she's kid-sick which means she still is up and raring to go. Today she wants to make cookies but I just don't feel like it. She woke up coughing and crying and just being whiny this morning but now she's bouncing around and playing like there is nothing wrong. Why don't kids lay in bed when they are sick??? I remember doing that when I was a kid. I would lay in bed with a box of tissues (much like I am right now) and watch tv and sleep or read. And that has carried over into my adult life. Thank God I got my wireless working on my laptop!!!! And thank goodness for Veoh.com so I can watch CSI Miami and Bones in bed.

What really stinks is I actually feel like cleaning today, but don't have the energy or ability to do much. I cleaned off the windowsill in the kitchen and threw away 4 spider mite infected plants. I think my Hibiscus braid has them too but I am not going to chuck that one. Once I put it outside it will be fine. I just hope the Orange tree doesn't get them. That sucker is getting huge. I never knew orange (citrus) trees had thorns.

Hiya B...

I'm glad to hear that the RealPage interview seemed to go fairly well and that's good you met some of the guys who work there and they seem decent too. Always good : )

Sorry to hear you are still trying to kick this sickness thing : ( I pray you are able to get some good R&R real soon and can kick it for SURE! KICK THOSE GERMS GOODBYE ; )

I didn't know citrus trees had thorns, either. Wow! I learned something new today...thanks : )

Have a blessed day, rest of the week, and weekend!

Don't you remember my plants Spike and Thorn? They were grapefruit trees, started growing them in kindergarten, and man, you could practically sew with those thorns! Insane. Hope your orange tree remains spider mite free.

Sounds like the interview went well, I'm crossing my fingers for you. And, if it doesn't happen, there will be something else.

I sent someone else to your etsy store today (she was admiring my earrings). :D

And, hope that the sickness leaves you soon!! And the kids. I don't know why kids don't just lie around when they are sick, it doesn't make sense.

Love you, miss you.
