This post is going to be totally different from my next one.
I am going to try like hell to learn how to make Chain Maille! I made a ring yesterday that I don't have pics of yet but as soon as I do I'll put them up. It is really pretty and simple but looks hard to do. I am practicing with different weaves and so far I have discovered that I don't know what the HELL I am doing!! But not too many people do it and its one of those "dying arts" or maybe its already dead but it looks soooo cool when it is done correctly! A lot of Renaissance Fair people use it still for their gatherings and some things are hard to find like bards for Horses and mail armor. There are some gorgeous head pieces here is my favorite:

and they have a ton of other cool stuff!! I probably will stick to bracelets, ring, and necklaces but who knows I might try a headpiece someday if I get good at it! I like working with metal.
