Judge Doom

Sorry I haven't been around much the past couple of days. Yesterday was a rough one for me, but I did manage to paint something cool. I'll put a picture of it up when I get a chance to take one. I love oil painting I wish I had time to do it more often. Maybe this summer...its pretty stinky so its kind of hazardous to do in my house right now! I don't know what is worse: the paints or the turpentine! I always thought that turpentine was like sulferic acid and would melt your skin away. Do you know why? Its because of that Roger Rabbit movie where they dump barrels of turpentine on the villain (Judge Doom as portrayed by Christopher Lloyd) and he melts into the floor!! That stuck with me for some reason...!
I had this totally whacked dream the other night, THREE times in a row! That means my brain is trying to pound something into me I think. The gist of it is this:
It was on the news (the DreamLand news) that scientific evidence was finally found to satisfy the evolutionists that God exists, and that indeed all that the Bible says is true. In my dream my Mother is the one who told me this, and I even stopped to say, Is this a dream? But then I remembered that I had seen the same article. The scientists had finally seen how old the Universe was and it didn't match up to how old they thought the Earth was and it disproved the evolutionary theory.
So I realized that I had been living rather un-Godly and that I needed to repent. I was in a school hallway for some reason and looked down to see one of those annoying little greenish yellow spiders on the floor. I tried to side step it saying, "Oh no I don't want to step on the spider!" but instead of it just staying there, it ran back a bit, turned around, and grew into a good sized yellow spider with a scorpion's tail! I tried to step on it but it was too big. Then it started to chase me down the hall!! I could hear the little tic tic tic of its legs on the floor and I saw a glass door ahead.
I ran inside and slammed the door and locked it.
Then I had the dream again, except this time I tried to kill it and it jumped onto my pant cuff and I could feel its legs on my skin. I shook it off and ran again.
Then I had it a third time. This time when I saw the spider (it was always in the same place) I had a book in my hand and tried to kill it before it could grow. But it was too fast for me and dodged the book and then grew into the Scorpion Spider again (I had named it that in my dream). I grabbed a bigger book as Paris Hilton looked on and screeched (not kidding about that lol) and tried to squash it but it was too fast still and I had to run again.
I remember dream-thinking that the Scorpion Spider was sent from God to challenge me.

Here's what DreamMoods.com has to say about the key elements (very interesting to me anyway)

Scorpion

To see a scorpion in your dream, represents a situation in your waking life which may have been painful or hurtful. It is also indicative of destructive feelings, "stinging" remarks, bitter words and/or negative thoughts being expressed by or aimed against you. Your dream forewarns of a self-destructive and self-defeating path. The scorpion is also a symbol of death and rebirth. You need to get rid of the old and make room for something new.

Spider

To see a spider in your dream, indicates that you are feeling like an outsider in some situation. Or that you may want to keep your distance and stay away from an alluring and tempting situation. The spider is also symbolic of feminine power. Alternatively, a spider may refer to a powerful force protecting you against your self-destructive behavior. If you kill a spider, it symbolizes misfortune and general bad luck.
On a negative note, spiders may indicate a feeling of being entangled or trapped in a sticky or clingy relationship. It represents some ensnaring and controlling force. You may feel that someone or some situation is sucking the life right out of you. To dream that you are bitten by a spider, represents a conflict with your mother or some dominant female figure in your life. The dream may be a metaphor for a devouring mother or the feminine power to possess and entrap. Perhaps you are feeling trapped by some relationship.

Being Chased
Chase dreams often stem from feelings of anxiety in your walking life. The way we respond to anxiety and pressure in real life is typically manifested as a chase dream. Running is an instinctive response to physical threats in our environment. Often in these dream scenarios, you are being pursued by some attacker, who wants to hurt or possibly kill you. You are running away, hiding, or trying to outwit your pursuer. Chase dreams may represent your way of coping with fears, stress or various situations in your waking life. Instead of confronting the situation, you are running away and avoiding it. Ask yourself who is the one chasing you and you may gain some understanding and insight on the source of your fears and pressure.
Chimera
To see a chimera in your dream, represents a feeling of confusion. You need to sort out your thoughts and emotions
God

To see God in your dream, signifies your spirituality and expression of your feelings about divinity. God also symbolizes an untouchable, unreachable, and unattainable notion of perfection. Thus such a dream may highlight your struggles and attempts with trying to be perfect.
To dream that you are worshipping God, signifies repentance of your actions and errors.
To dream that God speaks to you, signifies feelings of guilt, eternal punishment, and damnation.

That's one messed up dream!

I had a dream a couple of weeks ago that I went to see my family in Sweden and they wanted microwave popcorn and somehow I had forgotten my passport at home, though I made it all the way to Sweden without said passport.

My dream pales in comparison.

Showed another friend your jewelry site, and she loved it. Hope that she buys something! She saw my earrings and liked them, so I showed her where to get more in the same general style. :D

Can't wait to see your painting!

Thanks :) I appreciate the publicity!

I actually feel kind of honored to have dreamt about God, no matter what the context. Its better than my usual confusing dreams that make no sense. At least this one was interesting and fluid...!
