Crunch Time

I think because my normal state is to go with the flow now, freak out later that the reality that I have to sit in front of 3 important UVM people next Friday and convince them subliminally that they should hire me above other probably more qualified people hasn't quite hit me yet. I have been trying to prepare myself by reading their website and even trying to learn about the history of the building and the department. I also will need to go back over my scant knowledge of HTML code and try to expand my basic knowledge of Excel and Word. I can try to put that HTML Code for Dummies book that James gave me to good use, but I have to find the time to do it. It is a big book!!! I know stuff like bold and italic and website links and such, but beyond that I have random experience! I pick it up fast for sure, especially if I'm using it on a continual basis.

I have this totally annoying lingering cough that has injured one of my abdominal muscles and just won't go away!!! I hear so many people no matter where I am with this same cough. And my neighbor just found out that the baby she takes care of has pink eye and an upper respiratory virus!! If I get pink eye just in time for that interview I will be soooooooo pissed!!! Becca keeps her house very clean and is a germaphobe so hopefully she killed it already but you never know. That baby gets sick more than any child I have ever seen. Her parents smoke so she is getting upper respiratory viruses almost every week. They both don't understand why. Duh.

I can't wait to feel well again someday. I want to run on my machine or go to the gym so badly but I don't think my lungs can take it right now. I wish I could just go out and take a walk but you all know how that is this time of year. It snowed like a bugger today and I had no idea it was going to! The air is really cold too on top of everything else. Monday night coming up we are supposed to get another lovely snow/sleet/freezing rain storm that will last a couple of days. Lucky us.

Good luck! Just be your awesome self and they won't be able to resist you! Sorry about the cough.. that's rough.

Love you, I'm still spreading the word about your jewelry...

You'll do fine and just remember to SMILE :)))) and be very honest, but eager to learn!

You're lucky you have gym equipment in your own home, I'd be on them 24/7 with that kind of convenience! But if your lungs hurt, maybe you should take it easy. You could still do strength training without breathing heavy, right??

I'll pray for you and your interview!

Love,
Sis
